Ask the Experts will be a regular feature on Straight From the Horse's Mouth Radio Show. I've invited a number of previous guests to return to the show and talk about horse and rider problems.  Anne Gage, from Confident Horsemanship, is this month's expert. Ann discusses the common problem of fear and anxiety surrounding riding. Anne shares strategies and tips for overcoming the initial stages of rider's anxiety. I invite listeners to leave comments and questions on the guest page. Anne will answer the questions in her next visit to SFHM Radio Show.

At the age of 62 she and her husband Doug are the caretakers of a herd of 1400 cattle on 42 thousand acres -  the One For Research Ranch. Linda is on horseback all day. She rides hard, ropes cattle, mends fences and administers medicine and care to sick and injured cattle from May to October. Listen to Linda's amazing story.

As a long term user of red lights for healing, Sharon Katzke felt there was a need to offer one light, at one price, that has multiple power settings. As an engineer, Sharon created the AAh Photonic Healing Light to meet her needs. With over 12 years of experience, Sharon has witnessed many healing events by use of the red light.

Aah Light owner Sharon Katzke talks about the benefits of this therapeutic tool for horses, pets and humans!

Boomer Equestrians face many challenges as they age. Leaping into the saddle is no longer a reality. Boomers don't bounce when they hit the ground, as Roy Rogers said, they splatter. These realities don't lessen the love we have for horses and the desire to continue to ride.

The most inspiring video I've seen was the Schleese Saddle video of 93-year-old Elsa cantering around the ring on her horse. I watched the video a few weeks after my heart attack. Elsa's riding motivated me to get healthy,  continue to ride and fulfill my bucket list dream of camping with my horse. My intention for Boomer Equestrians is to share information that will help older riders stay safe and comfortable while interacting with horses.
